Santa Cruz, California Hotel InformationAs a local to Santa Cruz, California, I figured I might as well take a few minutes to help out our many tourists. When you are considering staying at a hotel in Santa Cruz, it is understandable if you are overwhelmed. We have a number of hotels to choose from; some of which are four star luxury hotels and others that might fall into the "flea bag" category. This site hopes to sort the hotels, taking into consideration location, quality, service, and reputation. Let's start with a little information on Santa Cruz. Santa Cruz is a "typical" California beach town. Historically it has been known for its hippie style, but this is a reputation that is quickly fading. These days, Santa Cruz is a mix of a University town and a local town. UCSC (University of California, Santa Cruz) is located "up the hill" on the West Side of town. Since this is where I grew up (West side Santa Cruz), the site will probably be more accurate. Below are a few of the more common images representing Santa Cruz. To the left is a list of the hotels I have reviewed, and to the right is a list of the "soon to be reviewed" hotels. Hopefully the site can help someone. Note: I have had a couple inquiries related to real estate in the Santa Cruz area. Unfortunately the best I can do is refer you to the San Jose Real Estate Online website.
I realize the site doesn't have tons of information on it at the moment, but I'll keep adding reviews as I have time. Meanwhile if you are interested in santa cruz car insurance check out that site--their rates are often even cheaper than Gieco. Hope the site has helps you when you decide to visit Santa Cruz. |
